The waitlist idea is smart—it shows they’re actually listening to what fans want. I’m already picturing this as the oddball centerpiece on my desk, and the “sign up to be notified” button makes it feel more like a community project.
I signed up for the notification months ago, and now that it’s actually in my hands, I can say the plushie is even softer than the concept photos suggested. The stitching around the little tail is tidy and holds up to my nightly squeezing.
Finally got the notification that this plushie is moving forward, and I couldn't be happier. The fact that it's a plush made specifically for thalassemia awareness means so much to me personally, and the design concept looks incredibly huggable.
